Cambio cultural sobre el matrimonio y su representación simbólica

Abstract

In the Puno region, there are cultural manifestations with their own beliefs and rituals, tinged with the customs of modernity; one of these manifestations is the symbolic discourse observed in the celebration of the quechua marriage. To carry out this research, the qualitative approach and the ethnographic method were used. Marriage is recognized as a fundamental phase in people's lives. In this sense, it was possible to conclude that, in the context, it does evidence the changes in customs and traditions throughout the process, from falling in love to marriage.
